Supervisor Pat Herrity, along with Fairfax County Public Schools, Fairfax County Times Newspapers, and other local organizations, is hosting two Fairfax County Teen Job Fairs and Career-Building Workshops in March 2025. These events are designed to connect students with job, internship, and volunteer opportunities while helping businesses find young talent.
Who Can Attend:
- All teens in Fairfax County looking for jobs, internships, or volunteer opportunities.
- Businesses and organizations offering positions for students.
Event Features:
- Free registration for students and businesses.
- Free table space for businesses (must offer student positions; solicitation is not allowed).
- Career-building workshops to help students with resumes and job readiness.
Event Schedule:
- Saturday, March 8, 2025 – West Springfield High School
- Saturday, March 15, 2025 – Chantilly High School
- Time: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Workshops continue until 1:30 p.m.)
Last year, over 1,500 students and 100 businesses participated. Businesses and students can register for free.
